Allstate Conveyor Service, Inc. has been organized and operated since 1996, but its management has been engaged in the conveyor maintenance and repair industry since 1988. Karla Porter, the President, is and always has been, the majority owner of Allstate. William J. Porter, Vice President, and Project Manager has been providing conveyor and general property maintenance and repair services.
From the company’s founding, Karla Porter together with the help of several of our Project Managers has run all aspects of the business including, but not limited to, all engagements with clients from contracting to client relations, all legal and operational control, decisions about investments, periodic field inspections, and decisions about capital investments. Together with our Project Managers and Site Coordinators, she coordinates scheduling, purchasing of equipment, OSHA and safety training, and the implementation of “Big Foot” software for scheduling and invoicing the preventing maintenance for our customers.
